Dead Space, a place where your not alone

Dead Space, a game of utmost horror, it began as a game similar to zombie scares but the catch is that you cannot just give it a head shot and it will stop moving. Instead it moves even without one, even when you cut off its legs, you got to dismember its every part of its body to stop the horror!

The series and spirit continues on its third in the series, Issac needs to travel to another planet that was said to be the source of the "Marker" the starting of the necromorphs. This time round, the player won't be alone in its journey, they can be joined any time by another player in the game and continue on its campaign. This series continue on its eerie surroundings and background music to pull the player into the grisly world of Dead Space, as you try to survive after waves and waves of necromorphs and its puzzles.  The other catch point of this series is that you are able to construct your own weapon, the parts are used from the material you collect along the way, which make each player have his own unique weapon during co-op play.

Till now, i do admit i am that bit of a scaredy cat, i tend to put down my controller at times to let go off the suspense that the game create, the time when i go through the game totally at ease was with my friends which even at times we got shocked by the sudden appearance of neromorphs.

Silent Hill, a classic title revamped

Yup, the game came out for quite awhile and i just got it since my vita was running out of games for me to grind..and i don't really know if this is a good choice at all but i cast away all skepticism and bite the dust to get it.

Silent Hill : Book of Memories, though it is tagged with silent hill in its name but be warned, it is not a horror game which all gamers had known but a dungeon crawler at its core. With its random generated dungeon and loots..you can say its almost diablo like, for a dungeon crawler it does it best in giving quite a number of enemies for you to hack and slash your way through but the save point its far and few thus if you ever bring it on the go, make sure your battery is enough for the journey.
For a dungeon crawler, it also adds in the ability to co-op play with max 4 players online or in ad-hoc mode, which is serious a great thing for friends who want to grind the game together as vita has seriously too little co-op game right now ( looking at Soul Sacrifice in the near future ). This game i recommend to players who love hack and slash game play or looking for some co-op action but if your looking for horror, it is definitely a mistake but you would not regret on it.

Tomb Raider, a new Lara Croft

Tomb Raider, a game no guys won't be not familiar with. The lead character with busty boobs and hot body traversing the lands on no one to discover treasure and adventure but now all are different the new Lara Croft are much more real like, with no over the size boobs and using bows and arrow for the kill.

The new Tomb Raider will be starting as a young Lara Croft onboard a ship but gets ship wrecked and got stranded on an isolated island, though it seems this way but soon adventures get to her and she find herself with animals hunting her thus to survive, she must learn to hunt. The new Tomb Raider also has damage mechanics in which as Lara Croft got injured, injuries will appear on her and her clothes will get torn.

Tomb Raider will be coming out soon with the limited edition as items listed in the picture above, collectors will get to collect a square enix kai Lara Croft figurine and even some DLC for the game. So let the game begins!

Upcoming game: Hitman's Absolution

Hitman's is coming on 20 November which is just a fews weeks to go and i am damn excited about it! okay, i am crazy for open world games (note to myself, i have not finished AC3). So, the original hitman is back to take back his position in the world of assassin but what is new about this game compared to the rest?

Well, let me input some of the new things in for this game,
1) The environment is much bigger with more npc around for you to hide in and more concealable weapon for you to use beside the weapons of Agent 47.

2)You are able to use the instinct of Agent 47 to help you go through the stage, which is kind of easy mode for players who are new to the Hitman world.

3)The 'Contract' mode in which you are able to design contracts for other players online and vice versa which makes replay value increase in folds.

Below are some links for you to preview on how hitman works in the new game:

I will update again once the game is up~

Update: Got the game~ the graphics are not as great as Assassin Creed 3 but the story are great from Square Enix though. It gives you the freedom on how you would want to execute your kills by silent or by loud methods. The npc sometimes are quite slow in engaging you and they are quite easy to kill ( ok, i am playing by normal mode thus i think the easier level for the enemy). The story by far are quite interesting and with a stable gameplay though if you compare it to AC3, i will still prefer the latter. Rating for it shall be a 8/10

Now my hands on for AC3 on ps3 itself, as always AC3 have one of the best graphics and it relays to you how the previous games ended. The game started with Desmond and his team at a cave where the "Apple" had leaded them to and Desmond started having images around him again, gives a "here it goes again" and you are put into his memory of a character from London named" Hatham Kenway" whose character feels better than the previous main lead.

But among the first few CG the ship captain's lips won't even moved when he speak. Upon reaching the new colony, we are being brought to the next location at an in which our character will stay and proceed on his next mission. The mission started out at a fort with the character using a musket!! Definitely a first for the series, the fighting sequence is sleek and smooth especially with the fencing style of Kenway, it is so much refreshing for an AC fan. The buildings are of post america style which of when they are under the British ruling, thus it makes a different feeling when you are scaling them and the npcs around are much more lively.

The game had a new mechanic in asking your follower to hide in a cover which the previous series does not have, a mechanic of using a human shield to block line of fire by the enemies,. adding in hunting in the wild, tracking the animals or even npc it is a great add on to the game making the game having longer play value.

The snow environment also hinders players movement and the ability to kill wild animal is quite a good addition as you try to avoid wild animals while traversing the woods. The new naval battle system also added new thrills to the game itself, bringing players more ways to enjoy the game when they are not doing the game's main quest itself.

The game has a certain twist to it, which i would not spoil it for those who are intending to buy it but those who played it would have know what i meant and it certainly is one good move by Ubisoft.

Yeap~Gotten AC3 and AC3: Liberation today! Aint it a happy day for a gamer like me who seriously love Assassin Creeds to bits. Started AC3: Liberation on Vita and was kinda disappointed with the frame rate and visuals at first but as the games goes after the introduction, it gets better with the music at the back ground and how the npc in it move around Aveline, it just seems like the whole AC in your hand!

It has different type of missions from New Orleans to even the lands of Maya, it uses different disguises at certain missions to complete its objective. But at times, you have the options of choosing different disguises as each disguises has its own advantages. Till a later part of the game, you get a whip as a weapon and means to transport in some areas of the game. AC: Liberation is a game that brings gaming on handheld to a different heights as it brings you the whole experience of the AC universe, though its graphics are a little watered down and have some mechanics taken out, its still a great game!

Below are some thoughts of mine on Aveline's disguises:

Assasin: The most favourite disguise of mine, it has the speed, strength and defense in it. On most part of the game, i have been using it to climb on walls and stealth kill the enemies but it is easily recognized by the guards which does cause abit of inconvenience when traversing on the street itself when the game does not allow killing of the npc you are following.

Slave: The slave, as you guess are wearing very shabbily, has little health and fast gain of notoriety to survive groups of enemies but it does have an advantage in blending among other slaves or even carrying stuff walking into enemy's base without getting noticed. It also has access to the weapons of the assasin and able to climb on to walls and roofs to escape, it does also have the ability to incite riots to trouble the guards in which you can divert them away to gain access to some places.

Noble Woman: As the name suggest, Aveline can use her charm to charm npc to protect her and also get dealings with precious stone in various corners of the map in New Orleans, it is slow and you are not able to clime roofs or even run fast. Thus the only way of protection is your parasol gun and you hidden blades which is seriously little defense against large group of enemies.

AC3: Liberation is a great game and if you guys decide to find out how the story goes and how is the game connected with AC3 itself, go get it and try it~ you won't regret your purchase.

Below are a video link which i find its a great walkthrough for players and those still standing on the border.

P.S There are in some parts of the game where you are required to aim your rear camera towards a bright source, this seriously made me frustrated at times but i found out that you do not need to aim at a light source for too long, you can move away the camera away from the light around 25 seconds then the game will prompt you to touch the screen.
