Now my hands on for AC3 on ps3 itself, as always AC3 have one of the best graphics and it relays to you how the previous games ended. The game started with Desmond and his team at a cave where the "Apple" had leaded them to and Desmond started having images around him again, gives a "here it goes again" and you are put into his memory of a character from London named" Hatham Kenway" whose character feels better than the previous main lead.
But among the first few CG the ship captain's lips won't even moved when he speak. Upon reaching the new colony, we are being brought to the next location at an in which our character will stay and proceed on his next mission. The mission started out at a fort with the character using a musket!! Definitely a first for the series, the fighting sequence is sleek and smooth especially with the fencing style of Kenway, it is so much refreshing for an AC fan. The buildings are of post america style which of when they are under the British ruling, thus it makes a different feeling when you are scaling them and the npcs around are much more lively.
The game had a new mechanic in asking your follower to hide in a cover which the previous series does not have, a mechanic of using a human shield to block line of fire by the enemies,. adding in hunting in the wild, tracking the animals or even npc it is a great add on to the game making the game having longer play value.
The snow environment also hinders players movement and the ability to kill wild animal is quite a good addition as you try to avoid wild animals while traversing the woods. The new naval battle system also added new thrills to the game itself, bringing players more ways to enjoy the game when they are not doing the game's main quest itself.
The game has a certain twist to it, which i would not spoil it for those who are intending to buy it but those who played it would have know what i meant and it certainly is one good move by Ubisoft.
